- 1 cup Whole wheat flour

- Water, as needed

- A pinch of Salt

- Ghee or oil, for cooking

** Instructions:**

** For Puran (Stuffing):**

1. Wash the chana dal thoroughly and pressure cook it with enough water until it becomes soft and well-cooked.

2. Drain any excess water from the cooked dal and mash it well.

3. In a pan, add the mashed chana dal, grated jaggery, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and a pinch of salt.

4. Cook this mixture on medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens and comes together. This will be your puran.

5. Let the puran cool down to room temperature.

**For Poli (Outer Dough):**

1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt.

2. Gradually add water and knead the flour into a soft and smooth dough.

3. Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls.

**Making Puranpoli:**
